Thailand Lifetime Experience Day One

On our first day in Thailand we had the opportunity to visit the Grand Palace, where the king of Thailand used to live! On this region there are many Buddhist temples and many places of worship offerings! It was an eye-opening experience to see how Thai Buddhism religion is a part of their daily life! We were able to prayer walk some of the areas that are spiritually dark! In addition to visiting the temples, we also immerse ourselves heavily into the culture by taking boat taxis, walking through the streets, eating traditional food, and experiencing the crowded markets!!

Em nosso primeiro dia na Tailandia, nos tivemos a oportunidade de visitar o Grand Palace, onde o rei costumava a morar! Nesta regiao em que fomos, eh uma regiao que tem varios templos budistas, e muitos lugares de adoracao, e oferendas! Esta experiencia foi muito boa para abrir nossos olhos e ver como o Budismo faz parte da vida diaria do povo. Nos pudemos andar e orar em muitas areas que sao muito oprimidas pelo diabo! Nos ainda tivemos a experiencia de nos infiltrar na cultura tomando barco taxis, andando pelas ruas, comendo comidas tradicionais, e experienciando os mercados lotados!

We made it to Thailand!!

Yayy!!! After long hours of traveling, a long stop in Tokio, Japan, we finally made it to Thailand!! It's too late here, so we have to go to bed to get use to the time difference!! Tomorrow we will start to immerse in the Thai culture, we are all really excited to experience God's plans for us here!!!

We are leaving in few hours!!!! Vamos partir em poucas horas!!

This is it!!! The trip we were all expecting for the past 6 months is around the corner, we have just few hours before we go to the airport and leave to Thailand!! This afternoon we gathered friends, family and our team, Pastor Tim (University Pastor) led us in prayer and blessed us before we go! We are all excited to be Jesus' hands and feet in that place, to shine and let God use us the way He wants!! Our flight leaves at 6:00 to San Francisco>>>>>San Francisco-Tokio>>>>>Tokio-Bankok! It's going to be a long trip, but we all have a lot to talk and think about!!! And here starts our Thailand trip Journey!!!

School year is over...one week to Thailand trip!!!

สวัสดีทุกคน,  (Hello everybody)

What a great school year it has been, I feel like I've relearned so many things!! It was definitely a really hard year for me since I had to adjust to the American way of living, studying, speaking...and so many other things. I was talking to Jake another day, I told him that even though I miss my family, church and friends I WOULD DO IT ALL OVER AGAIN! It's so worthy to live a life that God wants me to live! I just can't praise God enough for the blessed husband he has given me, I am convicted that he is my rock with Jesus Christ, he has encouraged me when I most need and when I don't need. Living God's will is way of living!! I thank Jesus for helping me to finish this school year!

So, I can't believe we have less than a week our Thailand trip!! I know God will totally change us on this trip!! Our team is really excited as well and I can't wait to have the chance to know all of our trip members better! They are all great people, they have passion for God's kingdom and they are willing to be "the hands and feet" of Jesus Christ around the world!
Please keep our team on your prayers as we finish this week, pack and start our adventure with God next Monday morning!!!

Two weeks and counting down!

What a great Easter Sunday I had!! It's so good to get to celebrate Jesus' resurrection, but better than that is to celebrate His resurrection everyday of our lives, I gotta say that I missed being in Brazil with my family, but I have a family here which is as awesome as my family is!

Since we had "Good Friday," Jake and I decided to go to the Grand Canyon with some friends from Turkey!! It was so cool to get to see the Grand Canyon! I really loved it, it is SO beautiful, but I have to confess that after 15 minutes I was done looking at the mountain hahaha!! I thank God for the amazing experiences He has given to me, it is impossible to look at the Grand Canyon and say that you don't believe in God; there is no other explanation for something so amazing like that! Here are some pictures!!

Two weeks and counting down for Thailand!!! We are SO excited and so is our team!! I Praise God for the amazing team He has formed to go with Jake and I to Thailand, they are definitely solid Believers seeking to  God's will!! Please pray for us as we get done with school this next week and for us to have a great God's centered trip, we definitely want to make a difference as much as we can, also pray for our team's financially that everybody can get their amount of money for the trip!

He is Alive!!!

I can't believe of how fast time is flying by!!! This weekend is Easter, and how great is to celebrate Jesus' resurrection?? There is no words to describe it, our Savior made us free forever!!! "What a Glorious day"

Life has been busy since I just have one school week left before the SUMMER!!! I have waited so long for this semester to end!!!
I have started to pack our house because a week after we come back from Thailand we will be moving to the school and a new page of our life begins. It's so funny to me have to move after 9 months in this apartment, I really like the place we live, but I know that living at the school will be a blessing for us to bless others. I am really excited for the next school year, first because I will be involved in the Leadership and second because it's going to be my Senior year OHhh I have waited sooo long for my last year of school!!!

Last Sunday we had our last trainning before the Thailand trip, we run over the details and other things we have to know before we leave!!! We have 17 days before our trip!! 17 days of prayer, fasting and looking forward of what God will do in our lives!!

Here we are Lord, send us out!

We've finally created a blog!!

Finalmente nós criamos um blog!!!

It has been a long time that Jake and I wanted to create a blog, but usually we have so many things in mind that we forget about it!!! We decided to create this blog to share what God has been doing in our lives and update our family and friends about our married life journey!!!

I hope to be able to post every day and also give some details about our Thailand trip this Summer!

Já faz um tempo que eu e o Jake queríamos criar um blog, mas normalmente temos tanta coisa ocupando nossas mentes que esquecemos de criar. Nós decidimos criar o blog para compartilhar o que Deus tem feito em nossas vidas e atualizar nossos amigos e familia sobre a nossa jornada casados!!!

Eu espero poder  postar todos os dias e também compartilhar detalhes da nossa viagem missionária durante o verão para a Tailandia
